  1.   2. Monitors routine and dry-docking (DD) attendances of technical staff along with the status of their travelling documents such as passports and/or visa renewals. Also, administers the forms that are completed by the superintendents following their attendance. 
  3. Handles vessels correspondence, prepares letters for important documents, CDs and/or various items to the vessels and keeps track of their delivery. Also, collects daily the incoming correspondence from the reception and distributes it to the respective recipients in the technical fleets.
  4. Maintains dry-docking (DD) folders, scans various reports, work lists and invoices in order to send these documents to ‘’Outlook’’.

Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with the chartering department during the vessel’s fixing process.
  2. Reviews the underperformance claims received by charterers and analyzes weather reports.
  3. Checks the owner’s LOI/LOA, B/Ls status and draft surveys at loading and discharging ports to ensure that the loading/discharging operations are in line with the legal requirements and the C/P provisions.
  4. Informs and supports the Insurance department in arranging additional war risk premiums and notify underwriters accordingly.
  5. Arranges for the payment of various invoices via Navision.
  6. Assists the bunkering, the technical and the chartering departments, as deemed necessary.
  7. Controls hire and freight collection and assures everything is received on time and in accordance with charter party terms and conditions.
  8. Prepares payments for the undisputed balances, issues and monitors invoices concerning hires and/or freights.
  9. Calculates final results for completed voyages, reports them to management and creates provisional estimations for new fixtures.

Position: PMS Engineer

Responsibilities:
  1. Checks overdue works for all vessels so as to avoid system failures due to the lack of maintenance. Also, creates vessels structure in the ERP (i.e., workflow tree, corresponding manufacturers, models, serial number, works & forms) in order to apply Company’s official PMS.
  2. Prepares Vessels’ PMS for external or internal audits by checking the reported works and the respective forms in order to avoid any deficiencies and maintain vessels’ high performance.
  3. Creates and maintains various reports on a regular or ad hoc basis regarding critical components for statistical and reporting purposes such as OPEX, budget analysis etc. and for the monitoring of PMS performance and the archiving of technical information.
  4. Provides training and technical advice to the shipboard personnel.
  5. Supports the technical department by utilizing data collection services, gathering data for all fleet and assisting in the decision making and budget control processes.

  • Spare Parts Operator
Position: Spare Parts Operator

Responsibilities:
  1. Organizes and coordinates the purchasing of spare parts required by the Technical Department, in an efficient and effective manner and based on the technical specifications. More specifically, raises requisitions in cooperation with the technical department and after getting their advice.
  2. Obtains quotations from the “approved” suppliers, prepares comparison tables and submits to the Spare Parts Manager and the Procurement Director.
  3. Searches market for new suppliers, if required, and maintains the “Approved Vendors” list.
  4. Negotiates prices and prepares the relevant evaluation forms.
  5. Places orders in accordance to the approvals obtained and ensures that each purchase order is recorded to the electronic purchasing system and the supply cycle operates effectively.
  6. Coordinates with the Forwarding department for the delivery of spare parts on board the vessel and instructs the suppliers, the Master and the Agents regarding the delivery point and method of delivery.
  7. Verifies completion of delivery, collects all the supporting documentation, checks invoices and submits them to the Spare Parts Manager for approval.
  8. Works closely with the Invoice Checking department on the suppliers’ invoices and attaches the vessels’ confirmation of receipt for relevant spare parts, in order to proceed with the payment process.
  9. Checks if the spare parts’ cost has been amended by the agents at the ports, so as to ensure that the spare parts delivery is correct.
  10. Follows up until the vessel confirms that the spares have been delivered onboard.
  11. Cooperates with the Technical department for the smooth and prompt delivery of requested spare parts to the vessels.
  12. Creates and maintains systems, subsystems, items and spare parts database in Navision application.

  2. Prepares ROB estimation for main grades and determines lubricants’ quantities that need to be supplied.
  3. Communicates with the vessels and with other departments to organize the supplies more efficiently.
  4. Places orders and follows up so as to ensure smooth delivery of the lubricants on board.
  5. Creates and maintains a database regarding expenses and consumptions.

  3. Prepares designated vessels for dry dock and repair specification, drafts and submits the specification to qualified bidders and analyzes and negotiates bids.
  4. Provides technical support to the personnel onboard, arranges on board third party services, class attendance, equipment maker or specialist contractors, landing and repair of equipment at shore.
  5. Monitors all technical aspects / performance of vessels’ operation including maintenance, repair, safety and environmental protection.
  6. Arranges and monitors lube oil (analysis and consumption) and bunker analysis and communicates the results to the vessels.
  7. Attends the dry docking and ensures that all works are undertaken according to specification and that the vessel is delivered in a sea worth condition ready in all respects to commence commercial trading within the approved budget and time frame.

  3. Approves deck stores and maintenance tools as well as the activation/supply of charts and publications.
  4. Analyzes, investigates and assess the risks of hazardous occurrences on the vessel or any deficiencies, issued by PSC and third party inspections, and provides vessels with necessary feedback and instructions to avoid reoccurrence.
  5. Pursues the developments related to international rules and regulations that are associated with the SMS and evaluates their potential impact.
  6. Coordinates and liaises with other departments within the company to collectively provide an efficient ship management service.
  7. Handles pre-port state control inspections, standard deck and safety items checks, master and officers’ evaluation and random bunker checks. 
  8. Provides specific training to the crew during the sea passage attendances.

  1. Captain Class A diploma and minimum 2 years of sea-going experience as a Master.

  2. Appoints cargo or bunker surveyors and port agents and arranges various services that the ship requires. Updates position list and books, checks with agent the ship’s prospects and approves D/As.
  3. Approves hire statements or freight invoices including lay-time calculations and assists chartering (cargo quantity / stowage calculations) in describing vessel’s particular characteristics and authorizes Charter Party clauses.
  4. Checks pre-stowage plans, loading sequences, passage plans, cargo docs, LOIs, bunker requirements and authorizes bunker invoices.
  5. Issues voyage instructions, ship’s cargo holds preparation instructions and Monitors ship’s cargo holds condition and preparation.
  6. Monitors the actual day-to-day performance and financial expenditure of vessels in the fleet.
  7. Communicates to Masters Voyage instructions, port requirements, local regulations, cargo requirements and precautions, ship’s charter party description and applicable clauses.
  8. Liaises with the Insurance Department in handling of claims, hazardous situations, accidents and P & I involvement and informs it in case of vessel breaking International Navigation Limits and war zones.

  8. Monitors Class and Flag State requirements and plans required surveys accordingly.
  9. Deals with any damage repairs or modifications, preserving the vessels commercial competence.
  10. Monitors all technical problems, major defects and follows-up, until corrective action is verified.
  11. Controls and monitors the lub-oil and bunker quality and consumption.
  12. Prepares repairs / conversions, dry-docking, special surveys, damage and voyage repairs, and specifications and supervises the execution of all such works.
