1. Assist in the financial statement close process, including preparing U.S. GAAP adjustments and compiling supporting schedules.
2. Contribute to the preparation of quarterly (6-K) and annual (20-F) statutory filings under U.S. GAAP/IFRS (for Group and Stand-alone entities), including gathering required disclosures and performing reconciliations.
3. Coordinate with internal and external auditors by preparing audit schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to standard audit requests.
4. Support internal management reporting and assist in cross-functional projects, including those related to tax and other financial reporting matters.
5. Assist in monitoring compliance with SOX requirements and help implement improvements to internal controls over financial reporting.

1. University graduate on Accounting, Finance or related field.
2. 2 years of audit experience.
3. Previous experience in finance and/or reporting roles within dynamic corporate environments, preferably shipping, will be considered an asset.

• Administers and monitors Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP, ensuring smooth daily operation and availability of the system.
• Administers Microsoft SQL Server databases related to ERP systems, including monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and running SQL queries when required.
• Creates and executes SQL queries to extract, validate, analyze, and support business data requests.
• Assists in software development activities, including testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with internal or external developers.
• Maintains documentation for ERP processes, system changes, user instructions, and support procedures.
• Coordinates with internal departments and external vendors for issue resolution, system improvements, and new requirements.

• Handles the assigned fleet’s C/P claims (off-hire / demurrage / other disputes) presented by / or to Charterers, collaborating with the Post Fixtures Officers team, as required.

• Organizes and coordinates the purchasing of supplies required by the Technical and Marine, Safety & Quality Department, in an efficient and effective manner and based on the required specifications.
• Obtains quotations from the “approved” suppliers, prepares comparison tables and submits to the Supplies Manager and the Procurement Director.
• Maintains and expands the “Approved Vendors” list.
• Negotiates prices, if required, and prepares the relevant evaluation forms.

• Organizes and implements courses of action for matters of technical nature arising onboard vessels.

• Conducts Internal ISM/ISPS Audits and MLC inspections to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established controls and procedures.
• Prepares the vessels as required in order to comply with international auditing requirements.
• Supports the vessels through External ISM/ISPS Audits and MLC inspections.
• Drafts the Internal Audit plan/charter and prepares Audit reports.
• Keeps records of imposed Non Conformities/Observations from Internal & External Audits and follows up corrective actions in order to enhance the implementation of respective requirements.
• Monitors certificates, Internal & External Audit reports through Navision in order to ensure for the validity onboard the vessels and the will be carried out within the required interval.

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field.
• Postgraduate degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of experience at a similar position in a shipping company.
• Knowledge of applicable ISM / ISPS / MLC standards.
• Certified Auditor from recognized training center.
